Benex© Gentle bone management from the beginning. The Benex© Extraction System allows a minimally invasive extraction with maximal conservation of hard and soft tissue structures. The extraction trauma is very low (no contusion of gingiva and bone), thus allowing a better prognosis for an instantaneous implantation.
A 29 years old patient introduced himself for an implant treatment after a front teeth trauma. A preservation of teeth 12 and 11 was impossible due to the subcrestal fracture line (5 mm palatal).
Upon release of the parodontal ligament using periotomes, the already trepanated teeth were prepared to retain the anchor screw, using Benex. Due to the self-cutting thread the screw can be optimally fastened in the root canal.
A slow rotation of the knurled screw of the extractor will cause a rupture of the parodontal ligament which will be indicated by a drop of blood on the marginal seam.
Hence, the root is extracted with maximal preservation of the bone and the soft tissues.
The inspection of the extraction wound shows an intact osseous alveolar bone, offering a first class condition for an immediate implantation.
As soon as the implant site is prepared, a primarily stable insertion of the implant (Ankylos) is possible and a temporary treatment can be implemented.
